EXPLORE Development

Dear Portledge Community,

We believe that students who can effectively communicate, collaborate, think critically and creatively, and engage with mindfulness and compassion are better prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world. Gifts to The Portledge Fund allow us to continue our mission to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges.

The value of your gift is the value of a Portledge School education, because each contribution to The Portledge Fund is a direct investment in a child’s experience. Your gift supports daily life of the school on every level, from faculty salaries; to classroom materials and technology; to the consistent addition of the resources, programs, and opportunities that enhance each student’s journey. Additionally, The Portledge Fund serves a critical role in supporting the school’s ability to respond to emerging challenges—ensuring consistent opportunities for learning, discovery, and innovation.

Your gift makes Portledge a place where education expands beyond academics to include a full range of experiences—intellectual, artistic, athletic, social, and emotional—allowing each student to develop a sense of who they are and who they want to be.

As always, we thank you for your partnership and look forward to seeing you on campus soon.

Tara Askeland
Director of Development
To meet our financial goals, we rely on each and every gift, no matter the size. Your support tells Portledge that you believe in our mission. Through annual giving, all alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and staff can express their philanthropic commitment to Portledge, and make a gift that is personally meaningful. Last year, gifts ranged from $25 dollars up to $50,000. Eighty percent of our current parents participated, a record-breaking number and a true testament to our strength as an institution.
