Portledge in the Now.

Student-Led Clubs

We are eagerly looking forward to the Upper School Student Club Fair on Tuesday, September 24. We will also highlight all of our Student Clubs for families at Founders Day on September 28 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Wellington Gym.
This year, we have revised our protocols for the Portledge Clubs program in an effort to boost student attendance, accountability, and community engagement.

On Tuesday, September 10, we will hold the initial meeting for all existing clubs and for those students who have expressed interest in starting a new club. Faculty advisors and student leaders are expected to attend. Following the meeting, we will share the required application for those who are interested in creating a new club. We hold this meeting first to ensure that there isn’t already a club available that covers the same passion or interest. All Club forms are due Wednesday, September 18, with notification of approval on September 20.

Please note that all clubs are student-led and therefore all club activities are student-led with the supervision and guidance of a faculty advisor. If you are interested in starting a club, please speak to Ms. White or email her.
